Russell Bedford International convened member firms from across Asia Pacific in Bali for its 2026 regional conference, with Russell Bedford SBR serving as host.
CEO Stephen Hamlet and Chair Daniel Ryba launched the event. Hamlet delivered a presentation titled “Unlocking Potential: Your International Network,” addressing how the network assists firms navigating contemporary challenges.
Helen Bimbassis, Director of Professional Standards, conducted a session called “Empowering Progress,” examining quality approaches that enable firms to adapt and grow. Syahril Ramadhan from PPATK, Indonesia’s financial intelligence unit, discussed the nation’s AML/CFT/CPF landscape using regional case studies applicable across Asia Pacific.
On day two, Hamlet moderated practice and regional update interviews where firms shared market developments covering economic conditions, professional changes, firm performance, recruitment, service evolution, technology adoption, and network collaboration.
Raimonda Gecaite, a business and mindset coach, led a resilience session. Justin Woods explored artificial intelligence applications in practice. Kathryn Davis, Associate Director of Network Engagement, discussed cross-border collaboration among member firms.
Gavin Foo and Peter Shields concluded the conference with succession planning guidance.
Hamlet reflected: “the firms that thrive will be the ones who adopt technology while strengthening the human skills valued most by clients.”
